I always do phonics in my classes before I do the book work. When I run out of ideas we play online games.

Starfall.com is amazing for phonics and building reading skills!

It can be used from CP up to mid CL.
CP's can have fun with the ABC's interactive games.
CKs and low CLs use Let's Read section with many blends and stories to read.
Upper CL use the reading books in different subjects.

It also has some great western culture in it like holidays we celebrate.
I let the students choose a story or phonics game to do on it during break time, they love it!
